Shady Side Progress Update

Here’s a look at the progress of our Shady Side house flip in Longmeadow.

Longmeadow House For Sale - Shady Side

The landscaping is being done around the exterior of the house. The roof is on, all the new windows are in and the house is painted.  The exterior color came out a little light but once we get the shutters on and the doors painted I think it will look good.

Shady Side Kitchen

The new cabinets are in as well as the 16×16 tile floor. We have the granite coming in as well as a real high end stainless steel appliance package.

Shady Side Living Room

Here is a look at the very large living room.

Here is the view from the dining room looking into the kitchen.  We added a little pass through between the dining room and eat-in area of the kitchen to give the space a more open feel.

Here is a look at our updated fireplace surround and mantle. It’s a big improvement over the dark dated stone that was here.

This sweet little puppy is now almost done. We are just waiting to get the heat back on so our hardwood floor guy can finish up his coats of polyurethane on the hardwoods.

After the floors are done its time to clean and stage the home.

  1. How much do you spend on a renovation like this?

  2. Looking great guys!! Love the fireplace detail…

    • Thanks Deyano,
It was a no brainer to cover up that old, ugly stone. We saw one of the other fireplaces that the contractor had done and we were sold. It only took a few hours and a couple hundred in materials. The return in both look and saleability far out-way the cost to redo it. I am glad you like it and hope the new buyers do as well.
