New Construction Rehab – 9 Juliette St Chicopee

We’ve finished the renovation work at our almost new construction house on Juliette St in Chicopee. This was a pretty easy job as the house is probably less than 2 years old.

The builder didn’t finish quite a few things and overall the quality of the finish work was pretty poor, so we went in and did some “redecorating”. We painted the whole interior, installed granite in the kitchen and added really high end Samsung stainless steel appliances, finished the 2 bathrooms, re-tiled some floors, added new hardwoods throughout the house, patched some walls, repoured some concrete, and landscaped the property.

We staged the house and put it on the market.

Here’s the finished product; (you can see all the before pictures HERE)

  1. Hey Kevin,
Do you know our contractor? Did he ask you to say that? LOL
Just kidding. We do have a great contractor working with us. We just figured out the other day that he has actually been with us for over a year and a half now. During that time he has worked on over 30 projects with us. We are just glad that he hasn’t burned out. We have a lot more in the pipeline so he will be busy.
    Thanks for the compliment.

Enjoyed your rehab notes and choice of materials. This should appeal to the average buyer, as well as those that want a bit of upgrade (Stainless). Keep up the good work. What does the market bear in dollars/square foot ??. Dennis

    • Hi Dennis,

These newer homes generally sell for between $160-$180 per sq. ft. in Chicopee. We have ours priced right at $160 per sq. ft. so we are at the low end of the price range.

Thanks for the comments and question!

  5. Finished product looks great Matt! No wonder your properties sell so quickly … they always look great and I know you guys price them to sell! Do you by any chance have a Scope of Work for the project you could email me? My wife and I are looking to upgrade our home (rehab the kitchen/bath, re-tile some floors, either new hardwoods or refinishing our current hardwoods, etc) and I always love the materials you guys use.

    • Hi Zac,

Thanks for the comments. This one did come out real nice.

I don’t have a scope for this job but have one for another house that has all the same finish materials. I can email that to you.

      Good luck with your renovation!
